Maximize Adsense Revenue With Images

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

I'm sure most of you know that by adding images above or next to your Google Adsense ads can significantly increase your click through rate (CTR).  Many studies have shown that you can multiply your earnings by 200-300%.

In particlular interest to me was an Eyetrack III study I came across which identified people's faces draw users' eyes the most.  Furthermore, their studies indicate:

  • On both homepages and article-level pages, photo size affects the number of users seeing photos and the time they spend with them.
  • Faces in photos draw users' eyes.
  • Multiple faces in photos attract more viewers.
  • A minority of users routinely click on photographs.

Unfortunately, some internet marketers have abused this practice by manipulating people to click their ads in an unethical manner.  For Shame!  This forced Google to revise some of their policies.  I HIGHLY recommend you take a quick minute to review their Terms & Conditions again if you haven't looked at it in a while.

Anyhow, I ran across a very slick little web tool that automatically generates custom banner graphics to display with your Google Adsense ads.

CHECK THIS TOOL OUT HERE

I just used this here on my and the article directory using the 728×90 format.  I think it looks pretty good for about 2 minutes worth of work!
