TradeDoubler Will Handle All Of Opodo’s Affiliate Marketing
The Online travel firm Opodo has recently announced that TradeDoubler, a major digital marketing agency, will handle all its affiliate marketing. TradeDoubler has already been running Opodo’s first affiliate program since 2002.
The absorption of this second affiliate marketing program ushers in a major overhaul of Opodo’s marketing team, which is being led by former AskJeeves marketer Paul Treanor. Treanor said:
We teamed up with TradeDoubler because they are best placed to work in partnership with Opodo to develop a long-term, strategic online marketing program.
Ododo plans to expand its online activity under the new TradeDoubler contract in order to help meet Opodo’s "ambitious growth" targets during the next year. This is probably a step in the direction for Opodo as TradeDoubler just posted a 30 per cent rise in first quarter revenues to €56.7 million (£38.62 million) year-on-year.
