Web Directory Marketing
Gaining web directory listings is an excellent (but often overlooked) online marketing method which provides long-term if not permanent listings. While search engine rankings are affected by the often volatile nature of changing proprietary algorithms, web directory listings are long term, if not permanent in nature. Once you achieve a web directory listing you will be locked into that web directories database for a very long time.
Here’s a list of some free web directories with a Page Rank of 5 or above. By submitting your site to this (growing) list will definitely generate more targeted traffic and PR for your website(s) Take some time and run through this list. Be patient when you submit your website(s) though. Some web directories take weeks or even months to review and include your website(s) within their database.
